Welcome to Greenbrier Equine Farm! My name is Rylen, and horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, I was fortunate to begin riding at just three years old, and that early passion has grown into a lifelong commitment to horsemanship, training, and teaching.

My riding career began under the guidance of a former jockey before I joined Pony Club, where I earned my C-1 rating and competed in show jumping, dressage, and eventing. As I gained experience, I expanded into gaming, hunt paces, barrel racing, and roping, giving me a well-rounded background in both English and Western riding.

Throughout my journey, I've been fortunate to work in many different areas of the horse industry. I managed a boarding barn as a teenager, worked as a groom and exercise rider at a hunter barn, and trained under a professional dressage rider. These experiences taught me not only riding and training techniques but also the importance of exceptional horse care, patience, and attention to detail.

One of my greatest passions is developing horses. I've had the privilege of restarting Off-the-Track Thoroughbreds, retraining rescue horses, and giving young horses the confidence and foundation they need to succeed in new careers. Watching a horse grow in confidence and helping match them with the right rider is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

At Greenbrier Equine Farm, I believe that strong horsemanship starts with understanding the horse. My lessons emphasize safety, communication, confidence, and correct fundamentals while creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere for riders of all ages and experience levels. Whether your goal is to ride for fun, improve your skills, or build a deeper partnership with your horse, I'm here to help you reach it.

I continue to learn from every horse I work with and remain dedicated to expanding my knowledge through ongoing education and hands-on experience. I look forward to sharing that passion with each rider who comes to Greenbrier Equine Farm and helping both horses and people grow together.
